🎹 Support the Musical Dreams of Mikkel Myer Lee – Singapore’s 12-Year-Old Piano Prodigy 🌟
We are proud to introduce Mikkel Myer Lee, a remarkably gifted young pianist whose passion for music grows brighter with every performance. Though born to non-musical parents, Mikkel’s talent emerged at just six years old when, after only a few months of basic music-appreciation classes, he began playing piano pieces entirely by ear.
Today, at age 12, Mikkel has already etched his name into Singapore’s classical-music scene:
• 🎼 Youngest pianist ever to publicly perform both Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and No. 2 (2023)
• 🎼 Youngest pianist in the world to perform the complete cycle of Chopin’s 24 Preludes, Op. 28 at just nine (February 2022)
• 🏆 Multiple top prizes at local & international competitions, including the Grand Virtuoso International Piano Competitions in Salzburg & Amsterdam (age 7)
• 📰 Hailed by The Straits Times as a “piano maestro” and celebrated among Singapore’s most talented young musicians
Mikkel has already graced prestigious stages such as the Mozarteum (Salzburg) and Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall (New York)—a trip postponed only by the pandemic.
During COVID-19, Mikkel shared his gift with the community, volunteering performances at St. Luke’s Hospital, HCA Hospice, and the Hwa Kwan Moral Society, bringing comfort and hope through music.
✨ Join us in supporting Mikkel’s journey as he continues to hone his craft and represent Singapore on the world stage. Like, share, and spread the word about this rising star so he can keep inspiring audiences everywhere.
